From Our Trails to Yours Collie WA

Our fifth year - No stopping us just yet!

This year Forest Explorers continued to grow meaningful, nature-based experiences with DBCA at Wellington Discovery Forest while sharing a Wildflower walk with ages from 1 to 70. Very encouraging to know we have fabulous ambassadors in the next generations of nature lovers.

We welcomed new visitor groups, overseas visitors and the Naturalist Club guests on our 2025 Town & Dam Mural Tour, Ferguson Valley Explorer and Premium Taphouse Heritage Tour.

It was an honour to have Joland Peebles Botanical Author and husband Alan, walk through Collie's Arboretum and map out the Tree species beside the Collie River with us. Thank you

 Many of our trail transfer guests were wonderful to chat with, sharing stories from riding and walking trails around the globe. From Munda Biddi cycling enthusiasts to Bibbulmun Track walkers, each journey brought wonderful conversations, shared passion for long-distance trails, a few bumps and abrasions with nature-based adventure. A few statistics from 2025 - five trips to Balingup, nineteen to Harvey Quindanning Road, six up to Harris River Dam, Donnely River Village, Nannup and lots of other trail destinations in Australia's Southwest 

Attending the WA Heritage Awards was truly amazing, highlighting the care and preservation of regional Western Australia. The workshops, networking and catch-up lunches strengthened community connections and encouraged collaboration with small businesses and groups including The Collie Providore, Adventure Connections, Good Vibes Southwest Tours, Collie and Bunbury Chambers, Southwest Visitor Centre's, Leschenault Catchment Council, Crooked Brook Forest and the Collie Shire to name a few of many.

Canning Stock Route 22 Day 4wd Tour continues to be popular with next year 2027 having just one vehicle place remaining, as we only have seven vehicles in total. Sharing heritage, Culture (Indigenous, Cameleers, Stockmen, and other 4wd enthusiasts.

Thanks to you and the impact you’ve made on our lives, tours and trail transfers, we continue to grow, learn and create even more exciting journeys, sharing the rich nature stories of our region and beyond with you along the way.
